Butterflies

Pennsylvania. Chapter 3

Still can't believe we were invited back to the farm a 3rd time - looks like Maggie and Tom really have put Al's table burning behind them. If you like pictures of naked kids, you'll really like these. Trampoline, pool, hot tub, quad bikes - this place is just amazing!

Love my cuties

I heart New York

And Donald Trump

France

Such a great holiday. I think everyone was mildly anxious about who would kill each other first but it was remarkably peaceful. Fantastic for all the cousins to be together. All the really REALLY great photos can be found by clicking on this link.

And a few others we took:

Belated Fathers Day

In the park. Ruby insisted on combining with late mothers day

Adult time

Just a few random moments from some of our nights of freedom.

Stacie and Carey -Harlem Corner Social

Anniversary - French Culinary Institute followed by Here Lies Love - THE BEST show I've seen in a long time.

Magnolia's bday

And the wonderful happy ending!

BAM gala. Brilliant fun.

Al at Shambala

For the entire weekend. Fun day out for me and the kids - started with Mud!

Ended with natural history museum.

Twins!

Hershey Park

Fantastic theme park about 3 hours out of Manhattan. An all singing all dancing experience - huge amounts of rides, a whole water park within the park and a lot of chocolate. Eben loved it almost as much as Al.

The girls loved it when they weren't killing each other.

When we found an overnight place to rent which housed the largest collection of beer cans in the world - we couldn't believe our luck. Interesting, individual etc. In reality it was the freakiest smelliest house in the world in the middle of the woods and a scary place to rock up to late at night in the dark. We were so scared all four of us stayed in one bed in one of the five bedrooms.

school stuff

A few nice moments from the end of the year at school. Chicks hatching in the classroom!

Clifford Day was a big deal. Everyone in red, a whole fair dedicated to various Clifford related activities in the school gym

A Clifford song

All the kids individually read a little Clifford story they'd made up and the teachers read out an 'About the Author' blurb afterwards. 'My name is Ellie, I live in Manhattan, but I also have a house in the Hamptons and a house in Ireland and my favorite food is sushi'. The wonderful life of a New York private school.

Last day in school

Lunch afterwards with Emma, Ellie and Olive around the corner. Last time we saw Olive as she and her family went travelling for a year the day after school finished and will be going back to live in Canada afterwards. They were an amazing family, we miss them.

Bad habits

I can't help it if the girl loves a pedicure

And gets into a good old natter with some of the other little ladies

I also can't pretend the mother daughter mani pedis are infrequent...

Much fun.
