BAM is one of the best arts orgs in NYC. I organized a table of work people at a gala dinner they had which turned out really well and was followed by opening night of Anna Nicole - an opera brought over from the royal court. It was amazing I loved it. I think everyone else did even if they were checking their phones through the speeches

Buttermilk falls

No better place to spend 24 hours without the kids than buttermilk falls in Poughkeepsie. Only 2 hours away on a dreamy train journey next to the water. They embraced my new found veganism / vayganism, we had an 11 hour uninterrupted sleep, a serious Swedish massage and a mild hike around the farm.
