Botanical gardens

UCan't believe it took us this long to get there but the Bronx botanical gardens are great. 250 acres of gardens, trees, flora fauna flowers from all over the world in the middle of the Bronx. It was a special pre Halloween weekend of course.

Kids saw a show with tarantulas, lizards and other stuff Eben couldn't care less about 

So we returned home to the playground so ruby could practice the monkey bars. She finally cracked it after two years of hard work.

This was the going home present. One enormous cake per child and a big pumpkin full of sweets. This was after a ton of chocolate and sweets at the actual party. so wrong parents here don't realize how insane this is.

We prepared a few jack o lanterns. Not bad!!!

Though Al's was better. He had a better knife..

Note to self. Jack o lanterns don't last more than a few days before they goo all over your stuff

BAM

BAM is one of the best arts orgs in NYC. I organized a table of work people at a gala dinner they had which turned out really well and was followed by opening night of Anna Nicole - an opera brought over from the royal court. It was amazing I loved it. I think everyone else did even if they were checking their phones through the speeches
